Who We Serve
MENTOR is designed exclusively for parents and legal guardians of youth athletes between the ages of 5 and 12 (Kindergarten through 6th grade). Parents create and manage all accounts. Children do not interact directly with the platform.
COPPA Compliance
MENTOR has been designed with COPPA protections at its core. Only parents may create accounts. All child data is entered by the parent. We do not collect information directly from any child under 13.
Information We Collect
- Your name and email address
- Your password (stored encrypted — never plain-text)
- Payment info via Stripe (we never store card numbers)
- Athlete first name, age, gender, and sports (entered by you)
- Training logs, competition results, and wellness entries you create
How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and improve the MENTOR platform
- Generate athlete development insights and recommendations
- Process payments securely through Stripe
- Send transactional emails and monthly reports (if opted in)
- Comply with legal obligations
How We Share Information
We work with these trusted service providers only: Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Railway (hosting), Anthropic (AI insights — data is processed but not stored).
Your Rights
You may access, correct, or delete your data and your child's data at any time. Email hello@mentorathlete.app with subject “Data Deletion Request.” We process requests within 30 days.
